|Rosangel Cruz, MA, BS obtained her Bachelors of Science in Psychology at Brooklyn College of the City University of New York, in Brooklyn, NY. She also received a Masters of Arts, in Behavioral Neuroscience at the State University of New York at Buffalo.
Rosangel recently joined the SMA Clinical Research Center as a Clinical Research Coordinator. She comes to us from the University of Michigan Pediatric Neuromuscular Clinic, where she led the development, initiation and implementation of clinical research studies. As a Clinical Research Coordinator, she has successfully managed both, Industry-Sponsored and Investigator-Sponsored single and multi-center clinical trials with children with Autism, Cystic Fibrosis, and neuromuscular disorders. Prior to her involvement in clinical research, she spent some time in the Business sector as a Quality Manager and Consultant and in the non-profit sector, serving primarily individuals experiencing homelessness and mental illness.
Rosangel was born and raised in the Dominican Republic and is fluent in Spanish.
